A good short term storage solution if you like feminine decor (and/or just tired of seeing plastic all day)is a hatbox. There are gorgeous round hatboxes and rectangular (small trunk sized)boxes that are covered inside and out in decorator wallpaper in various designs. I bought mine at Burlington's Coat Factory and Outlet, but you can probably find them other places. These are very sturdy (the rectangular ones have bolted metal corners) and they are lovely. I have a round and trunk one for each of my doll collections. The AG items fit in very nicely and they make pretty storage cases.
